Ecstasy Lounge (the original name of the club) was founded in 1991 by Kataka Gara in San Francisco, CA. USA.

Club Ecstasy Lounge was a monthly, location-rotating, private safe-sex club, with 25,000 members coming through its doors in a 5-year time period from 1991 to 1996.

In the near future, we will create a new club for women, but expand it throughout the United States and the World.

Kataka Gara has been interviewed by the San Francisco Examiner Newspaper, The Advocate Magazine and a huge host of others periodicals. She was also a featured guest on the Jerry Spring Show, The Montel WIlliams Show, The Geraldo Show and Talk Soup.

Club Ecstasy Lounge has always had a vision to empower all women through positive, sensual, sexual, educational and social events. Club Ecstasy Lounge is "A New Concept in Women's Erotic Environments".

This members-only club is geared toward women and is a women-only membership club.
We welcome ALL women into membership, including biologically born women and transitioning women (MTFs), who live their lives as women, as long as they are 18 or older, and agree to the membership rules posted at the club. All members pay the membership fee, show their ID upon arrival to the event and must sign a release/waiver form and agree to the rules in order to enter.

We encourage members to experiment and participate in safe sex with each other during the club event.

Club Ecstasy Lounge educates women about safer sex practices, with live sex shows on stage with performers, strippers and the PSSST girls.

The club has clean, comfortable, sexy and sensual areas to engage in sex, such as soft beds, chaise lounges, and comfy couches.

This also includes fantasy areas, which are rooms created specifically for members to play out their fantasies with each other and to have sex; such as the Lesbian lap-dancing chamber, the row boat, the motorcycle, the back of a car, the forest with pup tents, the shower, the dungeon, the St. Andrews Cross, the cigar and hookah smoking lounge, the school desk, the gyno-table, the dentist chair, the hot tub and many more.
All of these areas have authentic or created items within them, to make it as real as possible to experiment safely in the environment.

For our members who are a bit shy, we encourage meeting the other members through our original and fun communication games and contests: the kissing contest, naked twister, personals game, sex toy treasure hunt, spin the woman on the Catherine Wheel (like spin the bottle, only better), sensual fortune cookie game, sexual charades, sensual telephone line, roll the sex dice, and many more!

Everything is always free once a member is inside the club:
chocolate-dipped strawberries, non-alcoholic drinks, food, coat/clothing check, safe sex supplies, sensual massage and more. Safe sex supplies (lube, latex gloves, condoms for their toys, saran wrap,etc.) were also always provided for free to all members.

We disallow alcohol, and although it is a private membership club and we could have it within the event, we choose not to encourage drinking, alcoholism and drunk driving after or before the club. Any sort of drugs
(including marijuana) or drug use was, is and never will be tolerated in any Club Ecstasy Lounge event.

We are aware that some males wish to be a part of this project and they can support this project in a couple of ways:

1. Having incredibly good boundaries and deep respect for ALL women.
2. Practice safer sex with those you love and lust.
3. Share this information with any and all women that they know.

5. Donate your professional business expertise to the project (business or professional consultation, PR consultation, film and TV consultation, legal services, accounting services). Keep in mind this is a donation and does not constitute membership whatsoever into Ecstasy Lounge.
6. Purchase any products created by Ecstasy Lounge: books, DVDs, T-shirts,etc. (membership is not available for males, although in the future there may be an honorary membership for males and a special event TBD that is separate from the membership gatherings).
